My name is T.K. Goforth and I am a photographer, musician, and author from the Seattle area. My motto is, "Life is too short not to live it in color!" Black and white is so overrated -- live life colorfully!

Before becoming a photographer (in my later years,) I traveled internationally with a musical group called "Continental Singers." While in Africa, we worked with teams from World Vision International, in the nations of Mali, Mauritania, and Senegal, and raised over $1 million that year for world hunger. In Kenya, we shared "The Jesus Film" with nomadic tribes which was dubbed into their own language. I love the African people and the beautiful continent.

Since then, I became a piano teacher, and wrote a book called, "Chord Piano Is Fun," which was written out of my desire to learn to accompany myself as a singer. I had sung with a big band and jazz combos since my days with Continental Singers -- but had never been able to play for myself. After self-study and using my knowledge on my piano students as "guinea pigs," I published the manuscript and it has been used by other piano teachers and students, with great reviews.

I am currently working on another book called, Freedom From The "ICK," (everyone has their own "ick",) which should be released late summer or early Fall 2024. It is about my journey out of suicidal depression. I am using this book to teach others how they can be free themselves, and they ARE becoming free!

In 2010, I began to delve into photography and found that I loved it. My photography is the "canvas" for my artwork. I create unique works of art with lots of color, and I enjoy using textures and filters. Though I also create with graphic arts, using my own photography is my passion.

I love capturing the beauty and color of nature -- from magnificent landscapes to magestic bald eagles, to the tiniest of creatures. Whether I am strolling through a garden or peering through the window of an airplane, I am in awe of what I see. Despite the world being filled with hate, loneliness and despair, it contains far more beauty and delight. When I take in all that exists in this natural world, I get lost in it. I have realized that our Creator is full of color -- and in the midst of His beauty, I see that He smiles.
